Paying Taxes

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is charged with the collection of government revenue. To enable it carry out its mandate, every natural or legal person is required to register and obtain a Personal Identification Number.This enables persons to effectively pay their tax obligation and file returns.

Taxpayer registration

• Register a local company as a taxpayer
• Register a local individual as a taxpayer
• Register a foreign individual taxpayer
• Register a branch of a foreign company as a taxpayer
